Thanks for the Kisses!

This is one of my favorite videos of Tristan & Mason.  I love how Mason is looking at him!

Really Really Ridiculously Good Looking

My cousin Becky came by my parents' house the week I was in Gainesville to meet Mason and take a few pictures.  Here are some of what she took - I love how she captured his expressions so well!

One of our favorite things is waking Mason up - this was Tristan trying to wake him up by kissing him, but all it did was make him smile in his sleep.  Don't mind my annoying laugh :)

Better late than never!

Ok so my wonderful friend Jenna Tully tried to get us set up with a blog back when Mason was born, but this whole parenting/new baby thing is a leeettle overwhelming.  So my time on the computer for his first 2 months of life was pretty limited.  However, I'm now back to work, which means I'm in front of a computer 40 hours plus per week...plenty of time to submit a post/picture/video now and then!

I've never blogged before and to be honest am wondering who the heck cares enough to "follow" what I have to say or post, but I think it will be a good place to put all the photos/videos we take of Mason rather than posting everything to Facebook.

So, without further ado, here are a few to get us started.  Mason turned 2 months old last Friday, and we can't believe how fast the time has gone.  We're going to take pictures of him every month with his two friends Pooh and Blue Bear.  My mom did this for us our first year and we loved having those monthly pictures and seeing how we grew.  As you can see, Mason didn't grow TOO much between months one and two (look at those legs!!!), but you can tell how much more alert he is this month.  He is now 8 lbs, 10 oz...the size of most newborns as we jokingly tell him :)

We both have to admit, the coolest part about being a parent is how attached Mason is to both of us.  He watches and smiles at us all day long, and just last night I realized that my singing calms him when he's fussy.  He apparently doesn't have an ear for good music just yet :)

Nothing better than a big toothless smile!
