Technology Challenges

I'm sad to report I haven't done a blog post in weeks, and have no idea the next time I'll be able to do one.  In the past month we've had 3 weeks worth of AT&T service problems, which were finally resolved.  Then last Wednesday our laptop crashed and I have just spent the past 5 days trying to recover all of the photos/videos/documents that were saved to the hard drive.  During that time San Diego experienced the largest blackout in Southern CA history, setting us back yet another day.

I'm happy to report that we were able to recover ALL of the documents from our computer, but after another 6 HOURS on the phone today with the repair company, we still can't figure out why our Flip video software or photo software won't open.  So until then, it will be only radio silence from me, friends.  Technology can be so wonderful, yet so frustrating!  I guess it's a good thing all of this is happening while I'm not working, otherwise I don't know how we would have fixed everything.

But Mason (and us) are doing well!  Football season is in high gear, so Mason & I are on our own 5 1/2 days a week.  We're staying busy with playdates, trips to the pool and playground, and the usual day to day activities.  He's running around everywhere and his new favorite game is kicking around a ball soccer-style, and he's actually pretty coordinated!  He's reading about 10-15 words and starting to say a few more as well.  He's over 26 pounds and has grown taller in the past few months, wearing 18-24 month clothing.  He's still napping 3 hours a day and sleeping 11-12 hours at night, and has cut two more teeth bringing his total count to 6.  He's also started running to us for hugs when we get home from work/running errands...which is pretty much the coolest thing ever :)

Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I get this darn issue resolved soon...many pix & vids to share with you!
