5 Months Old!!

Mason is 5 months old today!  We can't believe it - the time sure has flown by.  He is now growing like a weed, and developing more and more into a little boy.  In the past month he has started eating solids - oatmeal, carrots, sweet potatoes and banana - and we even got him into his high chair (see last post).  He's sitting up better on his own, and his head strength is really improving.  He's also sleeping like a champ - we've eliminated any night-time feedings, and he's now sleeping from 10.5-12 hours at night, along with 3-4 hours worth of naps during the day.  Which makes for a VERY happy mom & dad :)  He's still slow in the rolling over department - he's done it, but isn't so interested in making it a habit yet.  We think he's starting to teethe, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that he deals with it well.  All in all, it's been a great month, and we can't wait to see what the next one will bring!
