We finally moved this past weekend, and part of the new gig is that we belong to the Rancho Bernardo Swim & Tennis Club. It's just across the street from our neighborhood and is going to be really great to have nearby - they have a huge pool, kid's pool and hot tub, along with a large playground (with swings of course), and even a toddler center that has fun toys outside of the heat for the little ones. There are obviously tennis courts there as well, although this family will most likely never enter one of them :)
Monday was a hot one, and since we could only do so much with the move at that time (I'll spare the construction details on our house!) we headed over to the pool with cousins Grace & Addison to introduce Mason to the pool for the first time.
And, just like the beach...HUGE hit!
He wants to walk SO badly, but is too chicken to try on his own. You can tell he's thinking hard about whether or not to attempt it here.
A little help from cousin Grace (by the way can we discuss this old man hair??? None on top, and actually needs a trim in the back!)
And of course some help from Addison as well
He was squealing with excitement :)
Not interested in standing still at all, trying to take off without me! Yes, I know I was very over dressed, we were supposed to be unpacking our house...and 4 days later I still don't know what box my bathing suits are in :)
Time to dry off and cool down. A little post pool time snack before heading home for nap time!
Pool day was a success!
We'll definitely be seeing more of that pool this summer. And I'll be investing in a lot of sunscreen for my little toehead!!
